Probably the most definitive book on the Cord model 810/812 is "Cord 810/812 : The Timeless Classic," by Josh B. Malks, C 1996. This book has everything you want to know about this landmark automobile. Another reference about the genesis of the American automobile is the "Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805 - 1942," by Beverly Rae Kimes, C 1996. This reference is available at most good libraries. It has almost a half page of material on Cord model 810/812, which may be a good place to start. A third reference is our book "Indiana Cars: A History of the Automobile in Indiana," c 2002. Our book has four pages of information on the Connersville-built cars. Cords were built in the complex on 18th Street. Final assembly was in the building at the N.W. corner of 18th and the N.Y.C. railroad tracks. Central Manufacturing used this building after Cord, With D&M Manufacturing being a more recent occupant. There seams to be a plethora of Cord photos on search engines. I searched under "1936 Cord" & "1937 Cord" and found plenty. Here is one.
